Ladakh, also known as “The Land of High Passes” is a region in India located in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The cold desert of India is known for its mesmerizing views and a culture which remains a mystery to many. It can also be said that the region is known to all, but visited by few. It’s snow capped peaks, the clear blue skies and the vistas of barren mountains broken only by meandering rivers has attracted many an intrepid traveler.
Day 1: Arrival: Fly into leh from New Delhi and acclimatization.
Day 2: Leh sightseeing: Spend the day visiting the local sights of the Leh city.
Day 3: Nubra: Drive past the famous Khardung-la pass and reach Nubra valley. Overnight at Hunder.
Day 4: Leh: Explore the gorgeous Nubra Valley and drive back to Leh for the night.
Day 5: Pangong Tso Lake: Visit the famous Pangong Tso lake. Overnight at a camp site on the banks of the lake.Return from the Pangong-Tso lake and stop at the famous Hemis Monastery which is the richest monastery of the region. Overnight at Leh.
Day 6: Alchi and Lamayuru: Visit the famous monasteries of Alchi and Lamayuru.
Day 7: Departure: Leave Ladakh with memories to last you a lifetime and with a yearning to come back once again!

Day 1: Arrive at Leh from Delhi
Fly into Leh from New Delhi. A one hour flight where you marvel at the snow clad Himalayas and Ladakh valley. Spend the day acclimatising and getting set for your adventure.
Day 2: Let's get Leh'd!
Spend the day visiting the local sights of the Leh city. The Hall Of Fame Museum, the Shanti Stupa, Spituk Gompa and a lot more. Drive past the famous Magnetic hill and witness gravity defying action and be marvelled at the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar.
Day 3: Leh Sightseeing
Visit the famous Shey Palace, Leh Palace, Tsemo Gompa and the splendid monastery of Thikse.
Day 4: Pangong Tso lake
Drive to the famous Pangong Tso lake where the famous movie the 3 Idiots climax scene was shot. Drive
past the high Chang-la pass and feed the cute marmots en route. Spend the night at a campsite on the banks of the lake.
Day 5: Monastic Splendor at Hemis
Return from the Pangong-Tso lake and stop at the famous Hemis Monastery which is the richest monastery of the region. Witness the monks chanting in prayer and meditate under the azure glory of the statues of the Buddha.
Day 6: Nubra Valley
Drive past the famous Khardung-la pass and reach Nubra valley. See the beautiful monastery of Diskit, with the imposing statue of the Buddha overlooking the valley and the sand dunes of Hunder. Ride the bactrian double humped camels here.
Spend the night at Nubra at a luxury camp site or a cosy homestay.
Day 7: Explore the beautiful Nubra Valley
Explore the gorgeous Nubra Valley and drive back to Leh for the night.
Day 8: Don't Sham it out and miss seeing Sham!
Drive to the famous Sham region. Visit a local village and spend time learning organic farming from the locals. Spend a night in true rustic Ladakhi village style. Be entertained by the local villagers with cultural performances and a lot more!
Day 9: The last night at Leh
Return to Leh today and spend your day visiting the local market, shopping for souvenirs or just walking by the Indus and marveling at the sunset and looking at the star filled night sky of Ladakh for the last time.
Day 10: Au Revoir Ladakh
Leave Ladakh with memories to last you a lifetime and with a yearning to come back once again!
