Best Time to Visit Kaziranga National Park

Kazaringa is open for tourists and visitors daily from 1st October to 30th April every year. However, the best time to visit Kaziranga National Park is between the end of February and March since the climate is pleasant and the peak season rush in December and January is over.

The park usually gets extremely crowded during the peak season and it will negatively impact your experience with nature due to the massive amount of people that are allowed inside. Another perk is that you get to witness a week long Kaziranga Elephant Festival that takes place at the park in February. It is held to encourage people and create awareness about saving and protecting elephants during their tour to Assam.
